(Hybrid Review) GM is looking into migrating their two-mode hybrid powertrain into rear-wheel drive sedans in the next generation of hybrids from GM (Source: Tom Stephens, GM Vice-Chairman: Autonews).
In other words, GM is looking to build more hybrid Cadillacs. P
